UtanoApp is an app that links you to a nurse, doctor, or mental health pro. You can chat with them using voice or video. It's made to make it easy for everyone to get good medical care and mental health help. You can use UtanoApp to get different health services like expert medical advice, mental health support, medicine prescriptions, sick notes, referrals, and more.

A Standard Consultation with a nurse, doctor or mental health professional costs just $10 per consultation. With Express, you can get or renew a prescription for a limited number of common conditions, including birth control (renewal only), hay fever, contraception and vaginal thrush. UtanoApp only charges per consultation, with no hidden fees. To use UtanoApp, you will need to download the app and have data on your phone or a reliable Wi-Fi connection.

UtanoApp operates primarily in English, but our clinicians also speak a variety of other languages. If you would like to be helped in a different language, just ask in the chat if you can be helped in your preferred language. Your clinician will either help you themselves or transfer you to another clinician who speaks your language, if one is available.

Our nurses, doctors and mental health professionals are available at the following hours:
Monday - Friday: 8am – 8pm
Saturdays: 8am – 5pm
Sundays and public holidays: 8am – 2pm

If you start a consultation outside of these hours, UtanoApp will send you a notification as soon as one of our clinicians becomes available. We are working to extend our operating hours as our services grow.

Yes. UtanoApp has a strict privacy policy that ensures all your medical details are kept confidential, just as they would be with your local doctor or GP. Your medical details are only shared with your consulting clinician – with your permission – or when required by law.
